Preparing your Peruvian Ceviche in a few steps

During Jesus' cooking class, you will go behind the scenes and learn how to prepare the most famous dish of Peruvian cuisine: the Ceviche.

To participate to this cooking class, it is not necessary to know much about cooking! The most important thing being to feel like sharing an experience with a local and have a great time!

At the end of the cooking class, you will know everything about the Ceviche en punto rojo (made of paprika and hot pepper), the Ceviche en punto amarillo (made of ají amarillo - yellow hot pepper) and the Ceviche clásico (the traditional Ceviche). A real festival of colors, flavors and ingredients on your plate!

Pisco Sour lesson - the inevitable Peruvian cocktail

Did you say Pisco Sour?!

Indeed, there isn't Ceviche without a good Pisco Sour!

This typical and trendy Peruvian cocktail accompanies all Peruvian dishes and is also served as delicious pre-dinner drink. The best way to enjoy it most is to learn how to prepare it so as to be able to serve it again at home!

So let's prepare your own Pisco Sour during this cooking class and clink glasses with your friends!

Should you still have appetite after the cooking class and tasting session, Jesus will present you his menu with various typical Peruvian dishes (platos criollos) such as Lomo Saltado (beef sauté) or Arroz con mariscos (rice with shellfish).

Capacity: reduced group of 5 persons max.

Duration: 2 hours (includes the cooking class and tasting)

Good to know before booking your cooking class Ceviche Festival

Jesus' restaurant La Barca de Frank is located in Pueblo Libre, near to its neighbor district San Miguel. Though it is not very known by the tourists visiting Lima, Pueblo Libre is a very pleasant, calm and residential area. It is also very safe, and the Museo Larco stands only a few streets away from the restaurant.
